As you know well, our democracy is under assault.

Election deniers are running for election administration positions. Poll workers and election officials are receiving death threats for doing their jobs. And Congress has so far failed to give states and localities the funding they need to run our elections.

We’re fighting back — and making headlines.

Most recently, National Council on Election Integrity member Amber McReynolds appeared on MSNBC to discuss the urgent need to protect election workers, fund U.S. elections, and combat election disinformation.

This interview followed McReynolds’ recent column in the Philadelphia Inquirer that detailed why it’s crucial that we infuse more transparency into our elections process and what our elected leaders can do to help.

We should be building a democracy that works for everyone — not letting extremists tear our system down. So we’ll continue to push back on the election deniers and protect our elections so that every vote in this country is securely cast and counted.
