Hi there, I wanted to take a minute to introduce myself — I’m Rachel, and I’m part of the digital team for John King and Michelle Siri for Maryland. Our team is in charge of spreading the word online about John’s campaign and vision for Maryland: which means creating ads, managing social media, sending texts, and writing emails like this one! As you can imagine, all of this takes a lot of resources, which is why I’m emailing you today: Will you pitch in your very first contribution right now to help us reach our end-of-month goal so we can get our message out online?

Our team (fueled by coffee and pizza) is working extra hard to make sure we hit our big April fundraising goal, but we are still a little short of where we need to be. If we don’t reach our goal before time runs out, we won’t be able to spread John’s story and vision for economic dignity, climate action, criminal justice reform, and more to every corner of the state — which is what we need to do to win! With less than THREE MONTHS until Election Day, we can’t afford to fall behind now. That’s why I’m hoping that John can count on you to step up before the deadline TONIGHT!
