Jennifer knows what it means to fight for everything she has. During the 2007 economic collapse of the real estate market, Jennifer became an unemployed realtor and single mother facing foreclosure. Losing her home meant that homelessness could be imminent. She filed bankruptcy, fought past her darkest days, and dug deep to put herself through nursing school.
Jennifer will be the only person in the state legislature who’s stood side-by-side with nurses working on the frontlines over these last few years, but that’s not the only way Jennifer’s election will be historic.
Jennifer will be the FIRST openly queer Black person elected to represent the Golden State in the legislature. Help make 2022 the year we make history. Sincerely,
Dc Lozano, California Political Director
