On this blessed night, let's rise to the challenge and finish Ramadan strong

Dear Email,

And just like that, the holy month of Ramadan comes to a close. We witnessed what’s become a customary increase in attacks against Palestinians during Ramadan. Worshippers were attacked in Masjid Al Aqsa and during Easter ceremonies. Over a dozen Palestinians were killed including several women and children, and bombs were dropped on Gaza threatening another brutal campaign against the besieged Gaza strip.

It is no secret that for decades, Palestinians have faced increased attacks during Ramadan. But the end of Ramadan does not mean the end of the oppression. That is why we must recommit ourselves to fighting for Palestinian rights here in the U.S.

The truth needs a voice to speak for it. Justice needs advocates to serve it. The message needs a messenger to communicate it. For over a decade, American Muslims for Palestine has been committed to positively transforming the issue of Palestine in the United States.

Despite the enormous challenges we face in our Palestine advocacy in the U.S., we know that our cause is just, blessed, and a duty for all people of conscience. We are dedicated, more than ever, to ensuring that the work for Palestine continues. As a community, we must be involved in this growing movement. By supporting our work, you are the power source.

As the month of Ramadan embodies hope for humanity, AMP’s work for Palestine represents hope for our blessed cause. As we conclude these final holy nights of Ramadan, help support the fight for justice in Palestine and make a Zakah-eligible donation tonight.

Sincerely,

Mohamad Habehh
