We’re inching closer to this year’s midterm election, and Team Hayes is planning to hit the campaign trail HARD to talk to voters and communicate Jahana’s work to everyone in CT-05. We are thrilled to have in-person campaign events again and look forward to having more as we head into summer!

As election season kicks into full swing, we’re investing in the infrastructure needed to make sure Jahana holds this seat in November. We’re building our team, making our media buys, and strategically planning everything to make sure we leave no stone unturned over the next six months and take no vote for granted on election day. We’re ready to crush this race, but we need the resources to do it.

The GOP is hurling money at CT-05, and it’s going to take all of our grassroots supporters to overcome their piles of cash. Kevin McCarthy’s national Republican Super PAC is pouring more than $125 million into a handful of races– and ours is one of them! This initial investment is already more than they spent on ads during the entire 2020 election cycle– and they have publicly promised to “keep spending from here.” They are already running ads against Jahana – dark, nasty, spinful ads. 

Between this and the RNC headquarters in our second largest city, they have made no secret of the fact that winning this district  is one of their top priorities in 2022. They know the road to flipping the House requires winning CT-05.
