My re-election campaign has an important fundraising deadline tomorrow, so I wanted to take a moment to let you know what we’re up against. The reality is that Republicans are eager to get me out of Congress, and they’re ready to pull out all the stops to do it.

I understand their opposition. After all, I am a strong progressive advocate on issues like making the expanded Child Tax Credit permanent, passing the Green New Deal, and lowering prescription drug prices. They want to replace me with someone who will be a rubber stamp for their extremist agenda — but I won’t let them. Can you rush $5 before the deadline to ensure we have a strong campaign ready to take on whatever Republican attacks come our way?
