For me, politics is personal. I sometimes get laughs at campaign events when I say I don’t own any stocks, but folks in Montana have been systematically deprived of the tools people used to build a stable life here by a corrupt alliance between malicious corporations and even worse politicians.
And I know that behind each vote is a real person making a real decision. That’s why one of my favorite things about campaigning is being able to have real conversations with so many different people.
I spend the majority of my time doing exactly that. But my campaign manager Blake has let me know we’re running slightly behind our pacing for our final end-of-month fundraising goal before voters receive their ballots.

When I talk to voters on the doors or at grassroots events across western Montana, I get so energized.
Between a grueling two years of COVID and the constant threat from corrupt billionaires trying to take over our state, things are really uncertain for folks right now. But Montanans are resilient people — and despite this precarious situation, folks are still hopeful that we can take our state back from these corrupt forces and return our state to a place where everyone can shine in our shared prosperity.
