Ever since CVS Health quietly donated $5 million to the largest dark-money lobbying group fighting Medicare for All, we’ve called on the corporation to stop undermining health care reform — and next weekend, we’re taking our biggest action yet.
We have a unique opportunity to tell CVS Health that enough is enough. In less than two weeks, the company is holding their annual shareholders meeting, where shareholders and CVS executives meet to discuss company issues.
If we put on the pressure, we can put their reputation at risk during a critical moment for the company, and tell CVS loud and clear that we won’t accept their efforts to undermine Medicare for All.
Here’s the plan: On Saturday, May 7 — just a few days before their annual shareholder meeting — we’re holding a National Day of Action, including virtual actions and in-person actions outside of CVS stores across the country.
After you sign up, we’ll be in touch with opportunities to take action during our Day of Action. No previous experience is required — we’ll provide you with everything you need to succeed!
We know that Medicare for All is the popular, necessary, and urgent solution to our broken, for-profit health care system. But corporate health care money is corrupting our political system, blocking the transition to a system that guarantees health care for everyone.
Together, we can stop the flow of funds, and demand that corporations stop putting profits over people. To take action with us virtually for our CVS National Day of Action, you can sign up here.
In solidarity,
