The Pathway to Recovery Counseling and Educational Services will be receiving nearly $100,000 in federal funding from the Health Resources and Services Administration (an agency of HHS).
Founded in 1977, Pathway to Recovery is a non-profit organization that has helped thousands in the community overcome substance use disorders by giving those seeking treatment support and opportunity to gain control of their lives. Pathway to Recovery is one of the oldest, continuously operating substance use treatment and education centers in Pennsylvania.
Since the start of the COVID-19 pandemic, we’ve seen an alarming spike in alcohol and drug use amongst all age groups and across all socioeconomic levels. I have been and will continue to serve as a strong advocate for federal funding when it comes to supporting substance use disorder treatment and rehabilitation.
