Dear John,

In 2019, immigrant, refugee, ally, and POC communities all across Colorado stood together in support of new, pro-immigrant leadership and laws our Coalition helped pass. We fought back against hate and fear: we began building a brighter future for ALL Coloradans.

In 2020, we are preparing our Coalition for bruising battles against immigrants and refugees during a heated presidential election year.

I'm impressed with the intelligence, skill, steadfastness and the passion of CIRC staff and the community they serve.

The most impactful moment for me was a day last year out in civic center park in the amphitheater It was 15° that day, yet CIRC showed up and showed up big time to support the Dreamers with banners and everything else in the freezing cold. I'm just impressed with that type of passion from people in the organization.

This is an organization that supports our community 100% and more. The immigrants who live in our community are here because they love it here, they are part of the community, they contribute to the community. Immigrants live, exist, eat, work, and play in our community just like all the rest of us.
