It’s Emma, Shannon’s Finance Director. It’s been an incredibly busy and exciting few months since we launched this campaign!
With only 1 day to go until our monthly filing deadline — and this being our last monthly fundraising deadline before we have to turn in signatures — I know it’s only getting busier from here.

My job means I am responsible for tracking and planning Shannon's fundraising, so I can say personally that the past few months have been HUGE for the campaign.

As organizing has expanded and momentum has built, we are in a solid place — but there’s still a lot that needs to be done especially as the campaign continues on towards Election Day.

To be honest, our fundraising in April has slowed down. And organizing and traveling around the Commonwealth to meet with people and find out what matters to them can be expensive. Gas, campaign literature, signature materials — it all adds up!

But we know that it’s the most important thing we can do if Shannon is going to be an Attorney General who represents the people.
In order to keep doing that, it’s crucial that we continue to smash these monthly deadlines and report the best number possible every month.
