Here’s a snapshot of what we’ve been up to across Texas:
🌿 🚪 - In Austin, our initiative to decriminalize marijuana and ban no-knock police raids is on the May 7 th ballot!
🌍 - In El Paso, we’ve already collected thousands of signatures to create a local climate charter to help tackle the climate crisis
🌿 - In Killeen, Denton, Harker Heights, Elgin, and San Marcos, we’re helping boost turnout by pushing initiatives to decriminalize marijuana
💰 - In Edinburg and Alton, we’re collecting signatures to create a living wage for city employees
This work would not be possible without your support. Thanks to you, our organizers are on the ground across Texas registering thousands of voters and mobilizing them behind progressive policies. These policies won’t just change lives, they’ll help drive turnout in upcoming elections like the 2022 midterms.
That’s our theory of change: when we organize from the ground up, we can deliver results and engage new voters along the way. If you’re ready to keep fighting for progress and delivering results, pitch in $30 today to help support our work. [[link removed]]
Thank you for everything you do,
Mike and Julie
