John, a
Republican super PAC called the Congressional Leadership Fund just
announced they’re booking $1.8 million worth of TV ads here in
California’s 47th. [ [link removed] ]Can you chip in to help us counter these attack ads?

How does this compare to what they spent in 2020?
In 2020 the Congressional Leadership Fund didn’t spend any money attacking
Katie. This huge increase shows that Republicans see this upcoming
election as their opportunity to win seats that have been held by
Democrats for the past few years.

What does this mean for our race?
To counter the Republican lies and deceptive ads that we know are coming,
we’ll need to run our own TV ads—which takes millions of dollars.

Could there be more?
This is almost certainly just the first of multiple TV ad buys from the
Congressional Leadership Fund and other conservative groups. The
Congressional Leadership Fund’s president just told reporters that they’re
“going to keep spending from here.”

the resources to counter Republicans’ narrative and hold this seat.
