This is the first big deadline of Q2. And with less than 100 days until our primary election, falling short on this goal means more than just a few dollars here or there — it means we risk falling behind against a torrent of spending and outside attacks that we know are coming from the corporate establishment.
Right now, we're 13% short of our $35,000 goal, so it's going to take ALL of us working together and chipping in what we can to close this gap in time.

Cori is not a career politician — she ran for office to bring our anti-racist, progressive agenda to life. She is in Congress to represent real everyday Americans — not corporations or special interests. So she believes our campaign should reflect that.
Cori doesn't accept a cent of corporate PAC money, but that's not how all of Congress operates. Most members fund their re-elections through special interest donations — from the pharmaceutical industry, military contractors, even the gun lobby — and spend hours on the phone calling up their wealthy friends.
By refusing corporate PAC donations and freeing up her schedule from call time with mega-donors, Cori is able to ensure the only people she works for are her constituents. But that also means our campaign relies entirely on grassroots donations of $4.80 or whatever people can afford.
$4.80 may not seem like a lot of money — but when we put all of our donations together it amounts to a powerful grassroots movement. So when we say every dollar counts, we really mean it, John.
