I have some good news and some bad news for you.

First, the good news: The Washington Post reported that I’m “the best chance to rid the Senate of Ron Johnson.” And the most recent head-to-head survey from a top-rated FiveThirtyEight pollster shows I’m the only Democrat who can defeat him in a general election.

Our momentum is growing — we see it in the polls, the press, and the energy on the ground. Everywhere I go, folks tell me how fed up they are with this guy, and I gotta tell you: I’m right there with them!

I’m frustrated with Ron Johnson’s refusal to fight for good-paying jobs, affordable childcare, and lower costs for working families. And I’m tired of our Senate majority getting blocked at every turn. That's why I got in this fight, and it’s clear our campaign is in the strongest position to defeat him and grow our majority.

Now, here's the bad news: The latest ActBlue report shows us tracking behind our April fundraising goal by about 13%. Look, these goals are not arbitrary — we need to meet every single one of them in order to stay on track for our end-of-month deadline.

I’m hoping at least every one in three people who open this email will make a contribution today. Every dollar makes a difference, and it all adds up when a lot of folks are pitching in. Can I count on you to be one of those people today?

Here’s your personal donation link: [link removed]

Our campaign isn't taking a dime from corporate PACs. In fact, the vast majority of our donations come from messages like this one. This grassroots team has always risen to the occasion, and I believe we can do it again and continue to put ourselves in a strong position to defeat Ron Johnson.

Thank you, as always, for taking action.
