Tommy’s tweets from just the last few weeks spread COVID misinformation, attack trans people, and call immigrants terrorists . These are the divisive ideas the Maine GOP is embracing.

The Maine GOP is inviting Tommy Hicks to their Convention so they can yell and complain about their most recent culture war. Their goal is to distract voters with outlandish claims and pit Americans against one another so they can once again gain power and cut taxes for their wealthy donors and corporations.

It’s easy to see why the Maine GOP and Paul LePage would want Tommy Hicks at their Convention. They share the same goals — from outlawing abortion and same-sex marriage to undermining democracy, and cutting taxes for certain rich private equity executives.
