I’ve got a rare 15 minutes free in my schedule today, folks, so I thought: Why not reach out personally and share why representing MI-11 in Congress is so important to me?

I decided to run for Congress back in 2017 because I wanted to make a difference for our community and country. I knew it was a longshot in a historically red district like ours, but I know a thing or two about tough fights – and how to win them.

That’s why no matter what skeptics said, I never gave up.

I didn’t give up when I became the Chief of Staff to the U.S. auto task force under President Obama and was told we would never be able to save worker’s jobs.

But we saved two million jobs in the auto industry – 200,000 of which were here in Michigan.

And I didn’t give up when I was told I wouldn’t be able to win in a historically red district as a Democrat.

But I flipped MI-blue in 2018, becoming the first Democrat to do so in nearly 100 years. And this grassroots team fought back against the GOP to help me win re-election in 2020.

Now, I’m the first woman running to keep MI-11 blue for a third consecutive term, and we can’t give up on making history in our district.

We’re falling $3,000 behind on our end-of-month goal and need a boost in order to avoid budget cuts that will scale back our voter outreach tactics. Will you chip in $25 or more today to help us win?
