Dear Friend,
We are in the final days of our Earth Day fundraising drive.
If you haven’t given yet, you can still get involved.
Over the last few weeks, members like you have stepped up
with their support. They've donated $10, $100, and a few have given
more. In fact, if you give $150 or more, you can have one of
these 'Crime with DeWine' T-shirts pictured
above! But really, there is no minimum amount -- it's about
participation to support grassroots activism that makes a real impact
in Ohio.
Your gift today - of any size - really makes a
difference.
With the help of members like you,
we'll keep fighting for a clean energy future
House Bill 6 gutted the state's renewable energy & energy
efficiency goals. Bills for a full repeal and to repeal the OVEC
coal subsidies have stalled. We are fighting for a
bold, comprehensive energy policy for all Ohioans.
The Energy Jobs and Justice
Act includes terms for PUCO reform, as well
as provisions to address Climate Change by reducing
emissions.
Earlier this month, Representative Juanita
Brent signed on as the lead cosponsor of the Energy Jobs
and Justice Act. Along with Rep. Casey
Weinstein, Rep. Brent will be a fierce advocate for
equity, carbon emissions reduction, and
accountability.
Little attention has been paid to the structural reforms
and safeguards needed to bring accountability, transparency, and
equity to Ohio’s regulatory framework. The Energy Jobs
& Justice Act is designed to ensure a scandal such as HB 6 never
happens in Ohio again.
We need your help to make it happen. Please join us by making
a special gift and stand up for the right to demand a just, equitable,
clean energy future.
We still
can reach our $30,000 goal!
Thank you,
Ohio Citizen Action
P.S. We still have a ways to go, so there's still time to make a special Earth Day
contribution.
