Here’s the thing: We have less than a month to go until Jessica's runoff election against "Big Oil’s Favorite Democrat" — so we're leaving nothing to chance in the home stretch. This race is going to come down to a couple hundred votes, which is why Sunrise is recruiting, training, and sending dozens of volunteers to get out the vote for Jessica in South Texas.

But we urgently need your help to scale up this volunteer program as quickly as possible. Can you rush a contribution of $10 or more to help us send GOTV volunteers to TX-28 for Jessica? Here's what our volunteers will be up to in South Texas:

Knocking doors. Door-to-door canvassing is one of the most effective ways to reach voters. We’ll be knocking the doors of Jessica's top supporters — because we know if they all go vote in the runoff election on May 24th, we'll have the election in the bag! 

Poll watching. We’ll have poll watchers at polling sites across the district, keeping an eye out for any funny (*cough voter suppression cough*) business at the polls and reminding voters to make sure their friends, family, and loved ones are also making their voices heard in this critical runoff election.

These efforts will help us defeat Henry Cuellar in the runoff — but we need a major influx of grassroots contributions to go up against the support Cuellar receives from corporate PACs, the private prison industry, and the Koch Network. Rush a contribution of $10 or more today to help us raise the $10,000 we need to cover the transportation, housing, and materials for our out-of-state volunteers for Jessica.
