Dear John,
Throughout history, many cultures have used drums and drum beats as a show of unity and to communicate important messages. As we continue to raise awareness by beating our drums on the path to the Mass Poor People’s and Low-Wage Workers’ Assembly and Moral March on Washington and to the Polls, we are asking you to use your social media network to let everyone know why you are going to #MeetUsinDC!
This week, we are asking for you to share some of the important reasons why we are gathering in Washington, D.C. This campaign is focused on eradicating the five interlocking injustices of racism, poverty, ecological devastation/denial of health care, militarism and the war economy, and the false moral narrative of religious nationalism. This week, we want you to share the images below on social media to amplify the need for us to gather in June and continue this campaign beyond.
We want to flood Twitter, Facebook, Instagram and TikTok with images showing the power of our movement and show this country why you will be joining us in Washington, D.C., this June. We could not do this without you and your willingness to help us bring as many people as possible to the Mass Poor People’s and Low-Wage Workers’ Assembly and Moral March on Washington and to the Polls.
Be on the lookout for our Digital Drum Beat email each week to stay up to date on all the ways we can use social media to amplify our message and keep folks excited as the summer continues.

Forward together, not one step back!
