We're behind. I've gone to every corner of this district to hear the concerns of hardworking Michiganders, but there are more voters we need to reach. There's more work to do. We're still in the fight to tackle climate change, push for common sense gun reform, and protect access to affordable health care. National Republicans are watching. This seat is a top target for Republicans who want to take back the House, and they're looking for any vulnerability in our campaign that they can capitalize on.

I'm excited to build on the momentum we've got -- and now is the time to do it -- but right now we're severely behind in fundraising.

Thanks to this grassroots movement, we've pushed for legislation to take on some of Michigan's toughest challenges -- like lowering prescription drug prices for seniors, decreasing the burden of student loan debt, and raising the minimum wage for hardworking families.
