Reproductive Justice: An Introduction

Loretta J. Ross and Rickie Solinger put the lives and lived experience of women of color at the center in this intersectional analysis of race, class, and gender politics. Using a human rights analysis, they show how the discussion around reproductive justice differs significantly from the pro-choice/anti-abortion debates that have long dominated the headlines and mainstream political conflict.

NATAL

Podcast docuseries about having a baby while Black in the United States. Beyond the soundbites and statistics about Black maternal health are real people with intimate stories about their pregnancy, childbirth and postpartum experiences, along with advocates fighting daily for better care for Black birthing parents.

Why Did No One Tell Me This

Doulas and reproductive health experts Natalia Hailes and Ash Spivak answer questions and share years of experience from their birth doula practice. This book guides readers through the entire birthing experience, from the earliest stages of pregnancy to the jungle of postpartum feelings and responsibilities.
