John, we need your help to make sure every eligible Pennsylvanian is registered in our battleground state. With May only three days away, and the voter registration deadline for the primary election only a day later, we do not have time to spare.

There are more than 1.7 million unregistered, yet eligible, constituents here in the Commonwealth. Our goal is to register 50,000 of those Pennsylvanians in 2022, and 200,000 by 2024. But with our fundraising running slightly behind projections, and so little time remaining, we’re not sure how many Pennsylvanians we’ll be able to register ahead of the primary. John, will you make a quick contribution of $25 — or whatever works for you — to our Field Action Fund right now? →

Here’s what the Field Action Fund does for Pennsylvania:

-Relational organizing, where our field team will engage in meaningful conversations on the issues that matter to our targeted communities who have been historically left out of the democratic process including communities of color and the youth across the Commonwealth.
-Host and support voter registration drives and community events, where our field team will be a presence within those communities.
-Hire people from within the communities we’re reaching out to and empower community leaders to make their voices heard.
-Partner with other like-minded organizations across the Commonwealth who are doing similar and important work in defending our democracy.

We need to spread the word about expanding the electorate here in the Commonwealth so that every community is represented in government. That’s why I’m counting on you today.

John, we have less than three days left to get to $5,000 for our end-of-month goal. Can I count on you to make a contribution of $25 to finish out our primary voter registration strong? $25 will knock on five doors.

-------------------------------------------------------

The New Pennsylvania Project was founded in May 2021 to expand Pennsylvania’s electorate, so it reflects the Commonwealth’s demographically changing population. In the next four years, NPP will engage and empower young residents and those living in underrepresented communities of color and immigrant communities. We will register them to vote, provide education about the issues that matter in their neighborhoods, and mobilize people to vote in every election.
