Hi, John, I’m Greg Casar, Democratic nominee for Texas’s 35th
congressional district.

During my primary, we were set on knocking as many doors as possible to
help turn out voters - especially during early voting. I was excited when
DFA’s own CEO Yvette Simpson and Grassroots Power Builder Nelson Pierce
came to Austin to help us canvass, but was blown away when we found
ourselves literally running door to door in the cold before polls closed,
fully energized and committed to ensuring folks knew they could vote right
then and there.

That’s the DFA way.

Democracy for America has an unparalleled ability to work with candidates,
on the ground providing valuable advice and deep support. That level of
commitment, the DFA difference, is one of the many reasons why I won my
March 1st primary, and with your help, it’s why other progressives can win
their upcoming races too.

Right now, other DFA candidates are just weeks away from critical primary
elections.

Every phone call we make, every door we knock on, and every person we
engage with brings us closer to winning. That's how we’re going to Protect
the House and win critical state and local races. And it's how we're going
to get Washington working again, restoring hope and progress for working
families because, with the right representation, change is possible.

That's why I’m writing to ask you to do something really important right
now -- while there is still time to make a difference.

My friends at Democracy for America are significantly focused on talking
to people who just aren’t ever engaged enough so that they can become
regular voters -- young people, people of color, and working-class people
-- and getting them to turn out & vote. DFA is working to get its Text Out
the Vote program underway and have staff and volunteers on the ground in
several critical races in states across the country including
Pennsylvania, Kentucky, and North Carolina.

congressional, state, and local races right now.

This is what democracy is about. It's about us getting out and voting.
It's about us volunteering so we can build power from the grassroots up.
And, ultimately, it's about us holding our government accountable when it
chooses to protect the power of the wealthy and well-connected instead of
building a future for ALL of us.

That's exactly what we have the chance to do now in races that are just
like mine -- if we all fight to make it happen.

I'm grateful for every DFA member who is knocking on doors, making calls,
sending texts, and doing everything possible to make sure that
progressives win big. And I want to make sure that they have the resources
that they need to see this thing through.

progressives to the polls in critical congressional, state, and local
races right now.

Thanks for everything you're doing to help progressives win. I'm proud to
be a part of the DFA family.

- Greg
