This year we launched “Hechinger en Español” with the support of our members.

The U.S. population of Latinx students has doubled in the last 20 years, and Hechinger has paid close attention to the gains achieved by this population, as well as the challenges still hampering success. Our goal with our new Spanish-language section is to spark a dialogue with Spanish-speaking communities about the issues highlighted in our stories, what we can do better and how to take action.

To that end, we’re also working more closely with Spanish-language outlets, both local and national, to ensure that our high-quality education news reaches a broader audience.
