Over the last few days, we've seen major reporting on the text messages sent to Trump's then-chief of staff, Mark Meadows, in the days following the 2020 election.
From the start, far-right members of Congress were plotting to overturn the election. They repeatedly advised Meadows on avenues the Trump administration could use to challenge results, they amplified election misinformation, and some even wanted Trump to declare martial law in order to remain in power.
These GOP representatives will have even more power and influence if they're in the majority party after the midterm elections — and our country can't afford that.
The first step to keeping the House in Democratic hands is securing swing seats like VA-10. Republicans made gains in Northern Virginia last year, they've named the district as a top target for this year, and Jennifer's facing an array of opponents who echo some of the worst Trumpian talking points.
