Ruth’s List Florida is proud to share our latest endorsement, Sarah Henry for State House, District 38. A newly created district, HD 38 is one of Democrats’ top battleground seats in the state house this cycle — and one of Ruth’s List priority races.
Sarah is a first-time candidate, who if elected, would be the youngest current member of the Florida House of Representatives and the youngest Democrat elected to the State House. She has worked in the non-profit sector throughout her career, and is a proven advocate for working families. Sarah is deeply committed to fighting for affordable housing, clean drinking water, and public education funding.
Sarah’s career has been driven by her commitment to social change, finding joy in hard work, and improving the communities around her. Her patriotism and sense of public duty was shaped at an early age by her grandfather, who served in the navy for 20 years before being elected to the Kalamazoo County Commission.
