The news has been absolutely crazy lately. So let’s recap:

Last week you heard the audio where Kevin McCarthy told other GOP leaders he was going to ask Trump to resign. Now there is even more audio showing just how he felt about some of the most extreme members of his GOP Caucus like Matt Gaetz and Mo Brooks.

Kevin McCarthy won’t stop lying. He says all this in private, but he refuses to hold members of his own party accountable, like Marjorie Taylor Greene who made disgusting references to the Holocaust and wanted Trump to declare martial law in order to stay in power.

I don’t know if it’s because he thinks it will help him in this election or what, but Kevin McCarthy can’t keep his story straight. Instead of telling the truth and owning up to Trump’s role in trying to overturn our election on January 6th like he did in those calls, the GOP leader is now trying to cover it up. The worst part is, he’s willing to lie straight to our faces.

And if the Republicans take back the House majority in November, Kevin McCarthy will use his power to shut down the January 6th Committee as quickly as he can. We cannot let that happen because we need to hold those who are responsible for this disgusting attack on our democracy accountable.
