I know Thanksgiving is coming up, and I know you have plenty on your plate (metaphorically and actually!) this week -- but we can't let up right now.

We're less than three weeks away from our legally mandated fundraising stop: On December 14th, we have to stop fundraising for nearly four months during the Washington state legislative session freeze. Many of our opponents in this race can keep on going. The Republican Governors Association certainly won't let up, but as long as the Washington state legislature is in session, we can't raise a dime.

So we've set an online goal of $30,000 to raise before Wednesday -- it's a big number for a big reason. There's so much to do here in Washington state, and that progress and success is emulated across the country. The progress we make here is what's at stake, and we're a huge target right now:

Make a grassroots donation of $5 or more right now, and let's raise $30,000 before Thanksgiving!

There were just three huge governor's races in Kentucky, Mississippi, and Louisiana -- and Democrats won two of them! That's a huge success.

But it means the Republican Governors Association will be that much more desperate for a big win in 2020, and they only have a few options. My seat is one of them.

And while we pride ourselves on being an incredibly progressive state, this month's elections showed that nothing is certain here. We just lost two really big ballot initiatives -- it's up to us to ensure the governorship isn't next.

All this is why we have an aggressive fundraising goal to hit by Wednesday -- before Thanksgiving, before our fundraising freeze: $30,000 in grassroots donations. Can we count on you to make one of them? Donate $5 or more now to fund the fight ahead.
