Saturday’s deadline matters because we are getting closer and closer to the June 7th primary and the support we have and the decisions we make in these crucial days will determine the success of our campaign.

As Mayor of Long Beach, I’ve worked to launch programs like tuition-free community college and implement an aggressive climate action plan to end the city’s reliance on fossil fuels while protecting and expanding good-paying jobs.

And I’m running for Congress to bring that same initiative to Washington, because every kid – and every family – deserves a real shot at opportunity. Congress should be an institution that actually helps people and improves Americans’ lives.

However, there are special interests out there who want to make sure we fail. And since we aren’t taking a dime of corporate PAC or special interest money, it’s especially important that I have the support of people like you.

So with this deadline fast approaching, I’m humbly asking:
