Friend, if we learned anything from Virginia’s gubernatorial election last fall, it’s that we can’t be complacent. 

This time last year, Democrats thought they had secured a victory. But a few months later, far-right Republican Glenn Youngkin took the lead, then the governor’s mansion. Now, Youngkin is taking his extremist politics to the national level, setting up PACs to help Republicans like him win across the country.

Right now in Maryland, we’re facing a threat just like Youngkin: Dan Cox. He’s a right-wing extremist who helped organize buses to the January 6th insurrection – and he’s currently one of the Republican frontrunners in this race.

Here’s the deal, team. These Republican extremists are using education as their angle to mobilize their base, and John King is the ONLY candidate in this race who has the experience, the vision, and the gusto to go toe to toe with them. But John can’t win this race and defeat Dan Cox on his own –  he needs supporters like you to step up and help him do it. Maryland can’t afford four years under the next Glenn Youngkin— there’s too much at stake. 

Can you even imagine what it would be like to have both Glenn Youngkin and Dan Cox as governors, friend? Having Republican governors in both Virginia and Maryland would affect the entire region, and have repercussions on national issues like climate, transit, and more.
