Meeting people at their front doors is my favorite part of my job.
A big reason I won in 2018 is that together we knocked on tens of thousands of doors, and we’ve already started again. However, we will also need the resources to build a strong campaign organization to communicate our message, organize events in every corner of the district, and combat the attacks that are coming.

I was born and raised on the Peninsula, and having those conversations with our neighbors at their doors never gets old. Hearing what matters most to people keeps me grounded and reminds me why I ran four years ago, and why I am running for re-election now. It reminds me how important it is to know your community and fight hard to make a difference.
I love how honest folks are. They tell me what inspires them, what keeps them up at night, and what they believe our future should look like. I hear a lot about affordability and how the attacks on women and LGBTQ folks around the country scare them.
