Hi there,

With the cold weather here and the holidays quickly approaching, I want to take a moment to check in with you about some ways you can find support if you and your family find yourself in need of help this season or ways to support our local food banks if you are able.

While the Granite State is known for its bountiful farms, orchards, and fishing boats, one in nine people -- including men, women, and children -- face food insecurity, which means they don’t know when their next meal will be or where it will come from.

Congresswoman Kuster and I toured the New Hampshire Food Bank in Manchester earlier this month. The facility runs a culinary training program where they teach kitchen skills to help people gain employment in the restaurant industry. If you’d like to support this and all of the work NH Food Bank does for our community, please pitch in if you can here: https://www.nhfoodbank.org/appeal/onetimedonation/

Should you, your family, or a neighbor need assistance putting food on the table throughout the holidays, you can find the nearest food bank here.

Please know that there are wonderful organizations ready to help. You aren’t in this alone.

Best,
Chris
