John —
I have about 15 minutes of free time in my schedule today. I know that doesn’t sound like a lot of time, but with a schedule like mine, I can assure you it’s a gift.
And while I know our campaign sends a lot of emails your way, I want to take a few of those minutes to tell you about my decision to run for Senate in the first place — and why your support today is so important to our success.
The truth is: When Gabby and I first started talking about running, we weren’t sure what to expect. We knew that Arizona needed new leadership in the Senate — someone who would always put the people of our state first, who was willing to work across the aisle to deliver real results, and who would prioritize building bridges between the two parties — not burning them down.
We also knew we had some friends who would help us out. But when you’re talking about such a big campaign, we realized we’d need support from a lot of people we hadn’t met yet as well. Especially since I was making the decision to reject corporate PAC money.
You know the rest… we won in 2020 in large part because we ran the biggest grassroots campaign Arizona has ever seen.
But now we have a new mission: re-election.
And just a couple of days ago, the National Republican Senatorial Committee (NRSC) dumped $1,000,000 in attack ads against me on TV in Arizona. They’re spending it all in ONE WEEK — that’s the most significant sum of money anybody has dropped against us so far in this campaign
We’ve set a goal of raising $1,000,000 before the end of the month to show National Republicans that our people-powered campaign won’t back down. So please, I’m humbly asking:
