Election Denying, Conspiracy-theorists Endorsed by MIGOP

I am worried, Team.

I am worried because come November, two Republicans are at the top of the ticket that if elected, will destroy our state and our elections.

On Saturday, the Michigan Republican Party endorsed two candidates for Secretary of State and Attorney General that peddle conspiracy theories and deny the 2020 election results.

In a moment, I’m going to ask you to rush a contribution ahead of our end-of-month fundraising deadline so that Team MDP is prepared to defeat these Republicans, but first, I need to explain what is at stake if we fail.

Both of these candidates are inexperienced extremists that were nominated because they have the endorsement of the former defeated president, Donald Trump.

Kristina Karamo — who is running to be the chief administer of Michigan’s elections — signed onto a fraudulent lawsuit, spreads lies that the frontline police officers at the January 6th riot were “crisis actors”, and falsely claims that Trump won the 2020 election.

Matthew DePerno — who is running to be the top law enforcement officer in Michigan — has racked up fines and nearly lost his law license because he has proven he is willing to break the law to serve Trump.

Team, we have to stop these two Republicans. If we fail, our elections will not survive.

Today, I am asking you to stand with Michigan Democrats, our elections, and the very soul of Michigan by making a contribution before our end-of-month deadline.

Whether it’s $5 or $500, your contribution helps our team plan, prepare, and build the foundation we need to stop extremist Republicans at the polls in November.
