Hello –

Grassroots leaders have the potential to transform the South, but they need the funding and support to sustain their leadership and their work. This belief is at the heart of our Southern Equality Fund, which is creating a pipeline of resources to LGBTQ organizers across the South.

That’s why we’re excited to announce our next free grassroots webinar. On Thursday, December 5 from 6:30-8:00pm ET ([link removed]) , CSE will host “Grant Writing for Southern Organizers: Finding and Applying for Your First Grant.” This interactive webinar will provide organizers in the LGBTQ South with concrete techniques, tools, and strategies for finding and applying for their first (or second or third) grant.

This webinar is geared toward advocates and activists doing grassroots work in the LGBTQ South.

Participants will also be invited to apply for a multi-week “grantwriting bootcamp” cohort to be held in early 2020.

Por mucho tiempo hemos estado diciendo que lxs líderes de base tienen el potencial para transformar el sur, pero necesitan la financiación y el apoyo para sostener y amplificar sus esfuerzos. De hecho, esta creencia es fundamental para nuestro trabajo en la organización Campaign for Southern Equality.

Es por eso que CSE presentará nuestro próximo webinario interactivo. Jueves, 5 de diciembre de 6:30-8:00pm ET ([link removed]) , CSE presentará “Solicitud de subvenciones para lxs organizadores del Sur: Encontrar y solicitar una subvención por primera vez proporcionará a lxs nuevxs solicitantes LGBTQ en el Sur,” con técnicas y estrategias para encontrar y solicitar su primera (o segunda o tercera) subvención.

Este webinario está dirigido a lxs activistas y defensores que están haciendo trabajo de base LGBTQ en el Sur.

Lxs participantes que estén interesadxs serán invitadxs a solicitar a ser parte de un entrenamiento intensivo de varias semanas para solicitar subvenciones / “grantwriting bootcamp” dentro de una cohorte de liderazgo que se llevara a cabo a principios del 2020.
