More Money, Less Problems
This week the House and Senate Dems along with Gov. Polis announced the "Colorado Dividend", which will send every Coloradan a $400 tax refund. [[link removed]]
From Governors Polis Instagram:
"Today, we are taking another step that will put money back into your pocket. We are proposing a Colorado Dividend for every hardworking Colorado taxpayer. Individual filers will receive $400 and joint filers would receive $800 by the end of this summer. Our healthy state budget surplus because of our strong economy allows for record levels of reserves for a rainy day, the largest investment ever in our public education, and returning $400 back to you immediately."

[[link removed]] In Memoriam: Dennis Gallagher
Dennis Gallagher, 82, passed away Friday in his home. Gallagher was a longtime Democratic political figure who authored the Gallagher Amendment, which was an amendment to the Colorado Constitution enacted in 1982 about property tax. He was a proud champion of his Irish heritage and was involved in Irish community, the Catholic Church, his local community and of course Colorado polotics.
