Today is the last FEC filing deadline before North Carolina’s primary elections, and tomorrow kicks off early voting. We need to act FAST to keep Erica Smith on the ticket to ensure her anti-choice opponents don't make it past the primary.

Tonight’s numbers must prove what we have known all along, our endorsed candidate Erica Smith, an educator, minister, mother, and State Senator, has what it takes to WIN.

North Carolinians are about to decide who will be on the ballot come November. The frontrunners in this race are: progressive, Erica Smith or her anti-choice opponent, State Senator Don Davis.

Although he’s running as a Democrat, Davis has crossed party lines multiple times – especially with issues surrounding reproductive rights and healthcare. Here is a recap of what Don Davis has “accomplished” during his time in office:
On Planned Parenthood: Davis voted to defund Planned Parenthood entirely in North Carolina.

On Budget: He was the ONLY State Senate Democrat who voted “yes” on a 2018 budget allocating $250,000 to abstinence-only education and anti-abortion advocacy groups.

On Guns: He voted for a bill that would allow those with guns to conceal them and bring them to schools.

On Healthcare: He was one of only two Democrats in the State Senate to decline to co-sign a Medicaid expansion bill that would have brought coverage to at least 500,000 North Carolinians.
