John, I’m reaching out today to talk about our goals at Women’s March and why we need your help to continue transforming politics in our country.
Five years ago, this movement came together to rise up in resistance against the Trump administration and start doing the hard organizing work needed to flip the White House.
Women’s Marchers took this fight to the next level leading up to the 2020 Election. Thousands of you volunteered your time to help mobilize women voters and even more donated to help power the organizing work we were doing to turn the tides of our country. Women are the reason why we defeated Trump and flipped the Senate.
But now it’s clear that our work is far from over: Trump isn’t the only failed leader we need to kick out of office. That’s why we released a list of eight seditionist Republicans who have failed our country and their duty to legislate in defense of women’s rights that we’re targeting in the critical midterm elections, and beyond.
Here are the names of Trump’s seditionist allies we're targeting who are fighting to keep Trumpism alive:
Ted Cruz (R-TX)
Josh Hawley (R-MO)
Cindy Hyde-Smith (R-MS)
Rick Scott (R-FL)
Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA)
Lauren Boebert (R-CO)
Madison Cawthorn (R-NC)
Ron Johnson (R-WI)
We’re going after every single one of them.
But what we learned from the last election is that it’s going to take immense preparation and all of us working together to win again like we did in 2020 – and the midterm elections are just around the corner.
It takes significant resources and funding to run year-round advocacy programs, offer free trainings for women interested in learning more about organizing work, and maintain the digital tools we need to grow our volunteer movement.
We know that not everyone is in a position to donate, but if you can afford it, will you make a donation to our #RemoveTheSeditionCaucus fund? Every dollar counts leading up to a big fight like this to remove Trump’s most loyal allies in Congress.
Together,
Rachel Carmona
