Folks—This is a long email, but it’s a very important one.
We’re just days away from our primary election, which means that this time
next week we’ll know which GOP opponent I’ll face on the ballot in
November.
There couldn’t be a better time to lay out what we’re doing to win here in
Ohio. [ [link removed] ]So, I’ve got to ask—will you chip in toward our $150,000
End-of-Month goal ASAP?

Working class Ohioans are being forgotten and left behind by an
ineffective Senate that continually filibusters our priorities and
under-delivers. So I promised myself I would be part of the solution,
instead of the problem.
It’s why we launched our Workers First Tour, traveling to all 88 Ohio
counties during the first year of this campaign. I wanted to look as many
folks in the eyes as possible, shake their hands, and let them know I’m
someone they can trust—someone who will advocate for their needs and fight
for their families.
The vast majority of Americans are working harder and longer, making less,
and falling further behind while the wealthy and well-connected receive
handout after handout to pull ahead.
That’s where business-as-usual politics have taken us. And it’s the
direction my millionaire GOP opponents and their billionaire backers want
to keep us in.
But with your support, we can expand our Democratic Senate majority and
give Ohio the most pro-worker delegation in the Senate. We can finally fix
our economy and pass legislation that prioritizes working families over
big corporations and the uber-wealthy.
However, the reality is: We cannot—and will not—win this race and deliver
for hardworking Ohioans without the strongest team of grassroots
supporters this state has ever seen.
Anything less, and we’ll fail to keep up with the billionaire-funded super
PACs and dark-money GOP mega-donors that are pouring everything they have
into buying this open Senate seat.

this email asking if you’d be willing to chip in toward our $150,000
End-of-Month goal before it’s too late.
I don’t want to look back on this race with regrets. So if that means
sending one more email or asking for one more small-dollar donation, we’re
going to do it. Senate control will be decided here in Ohio—so we’ve got
to give this our all.
