Hi, friend, I'm former Congresswoman Gabby Giffords. I'm a gun violence survivor and a national gun safety advocate, and I want to take a moment to tell you why I endorsed Chrissy Houlahan's reelection campaign.

Pennsylvania deserves leaders who will fight to protect the American people and have the courage to stand up to the dangerous gun lobby. Rep. Houlahan is a leader among leaders. 

As a member of the Gun Violence Prevention Task Force, Chrissy has co-sponsored and fought for meaningful gun safety measures – from universal background checks to keeping weapons of war off of our streets – that will keep Pennsylvania families and communities safe.

I'm grateful for Rep. Houlahan's leadership and bravery. But right now, Republicans only need five seats to flip the House, and they'll pour millions of dollars into flipping PA-06. It's critical we hold this seat and keep Chrissy's moral voice in Congress. That's why I'm personally asking, friend: Will you contribute $5 or more now to help Chrissy win reelection, keep the House blue, and keep fighting to protect our communities?

Simply put, we cannot afford for Democrats to lose our House majority. From health care to gun safety, too much is at stake. Chrissy is relying on the support of grassroots supporters like you to power her campaign, which is why I'm asking you to help raise $20,000 before midnight tonight.
