This is not the email I want to be sending, John. There’s no way to sugarcoat it; April has been a slow month for online fundraising. With the primary election only two and a half weeks away, we cannot afford to fall short of our fundraising goals.

So, to get us where we need to be, we need to raise $10,000 before the end-of-month fundraising deadline on Sunday. Can Valerie count on you to step up and pitch in what you’re able today?
