Hi John — I wanted to send over a quick update on the
campaign with some of the media coverage we got over the weekend.
We're really moving quickly now — Joe is on the road and making
media appearances to get our message out, support is growing for our
movement in early states, and we're working to get on the ballot in
all Super Tuesday states (and we're well on our way!).

Key quote from Joe:
"We don't have two viable political parties in this country. I
aim to change that. And by the way, Ana, we need more courageous
Republicans to stick their neck out now against this president. What
saddens me even more is so many of my former colleagues in Congress,
they agree with me about Donald Trump but they're afraid to speak out
publicly.
Shame on them. Shame on them."
Hawkeye Poll:
Two-thirds of Iowans want Trump to face GOP challenger
Nearly two-thirds of Iowans, including 43 percent of Republicans,
would like to see a strong challenger to President Donald Trump emerge
in the Republican caucuses.
Overall, 63 percent of Iowa registered voters told the University
of Iowa's Hawkeye Poll they want to see someone challenge Trump from
within his own party.

On Joe Walsh:
Joe Walsh, a former Illinois congressman ad tea party favorite
turned radio talk show host, announced a longshot challenge Aug. 25 to
President Donald Trump for the Republican nomination in 2020, saying
the incumbent is “completely unfit” for office and must be denied a
second term.
“Somebody needs to step up and there needs to be an
alternative” among Republicans, Walsh told ABC’s “This Week,” adding
that “the country is sick of this guy’s tantrum. He’s a child. ... He
lies every time he opens his mouth.”
