Hi John,
It's Endorsement Day! This year, our focus is all about targeting local offices like school boards and election administration offices so we can work on saving democracy from the ground up.
Run for Something has 87 new faces in this month's class of endorsements. Ready to meet them?
The April 2022 Endorsement Class is here: Check out these 87 stellar diverse young progressives! Pick 1-2 candidates that get you excited and give them a follow — or support them however you can.
Here's a look at the April endorsement class by the numbers:
How they identify:
=> 63% people of color
=> 22% LGBTQIA+
=> 51% women
Even more impressive, 56% come from low income backgrounds, 38% are caretakers to children under 18, and 18% are the children of immigrants.
This class full of EXCITING diverse young progressives includes union organizers and leaders supporting labor rights; advocates for clean energy and climate justice; and a foster parent who helped LGBTQ+ veterans gain access to health care, pension, and other benefits they lost under Don't Ask, Don't Tell.
These candidates are making big moves at the local level all across this country. Let's help them win. Show your support by pitching in
