Common Dreams relies on reader donations, and our periodic fundraising campaigns are the backbone of our reader-funded approach to independent journalism.
But wouldn’t it be great if we could meet our fundraising goal in just one or two days instead of a fundraising campaign that goes on for a week or more?
We’re a nonprofit on a shoestring budget, and we’re don't try to raise anything beyond what’s needed to cover our basic costs. We need to raise $100,000 by the end of this drive to pay for crucial things like web hosting, staff salaries, and office rent.
Falling short is not an option, but if we can hit our goal sooner, we would love nothing more than to end this campaign early.
