It’s Senator Cory Booker. I’m here to personally ask you to chip in $25 or more today to help Tim flip this seat so that we can protect and expand our Democratic Senate majority and continue working for the progress that the American people deserve.

But before I get into why I want to work with Tim in the Senate, and how I know he’ll do an incredible job representing the great state of Ohio, I’m going to start with a fun fact: did you know that before either of us got our start in public service, we were former college athletes?

I was a tight end at Stanford, Tim was a quarterback at Youngstown State. While we’ve left our football days long behind us, we’ve both carried the character, honor, leadership, discipline, and grit that we learned on the field into our work in Congress.

Tim has spent his career getting results for hardworking Ohioans. He’s not the kind of guy you want sitting on the bench—he’s a fighter who will give it all he’s got, from the starting whistle to the final seconds on the clock.

That’s why I need him on my team in the Senate, and that’s why Mitch McConnell and his billionaire allies are spending millions to try and defeat him.
