Bloomberg News reports, "Joe Manchin Explores Possible Energy, Climate
Package With GOP" Yes, you read that right.

After Manchin blocked Democrats' plans for massive investments in clean
energy and fighting climate change, The Wall Street Journal reports that
now he's after: "More domestic fossil-fuel production" and "help for
natural-gas exports and oil and gas pipelines, as well as policies to make
it easier for companies to drill more on federal territory."

Those aren't proposals to fight climate change -- they're proposals to
enrich fossil fuel corporations and make climate change worse.

John, there are only two ways that Joe Manchin's veto in the
Senate ends: Republicans take the majority or we elect at least one new
Democrat in 2022.

[ [link removed] ]Can you chip in $4 to 4 of our best chances to flip red Senate seats:
the races in Wisconsin, Missouri, Pennsylvania, and North Carolina? (3 of
these seats are open due to Republican retirements. The 4th is held by Ron
Johnson, the most vulnerable Republican in the Senate.)

For weeks, we've led a huge coalition of nearly 100 climate, veteran,
foreign policy, and progressive organizations calling on President Biden
and Democratic leaders to go on offense and unite behind a winning message
that America must lead the way on clean energy and fight Big Oil price
gouging.

Manchin is going the exact opposite direction, and it looks like he's
willing to take the entire Democratic Party over the cliff to get his way.

Yahoo News: Manchin signals he's willing to abandon Biden's economic
agenda if he strikes a climate deal with the GOP

Washington Post: Fears mount inside White House that Manchin won’t agree
to any deal

If Manchin's veto in the Senate ends because Republicans take the
majority, the ramifications will be devastating -- but they won't stop
with the climate. Republican control will lead to crises for voting rights
and democracy protections, civil rights, workers, and SO. MUCH. MORE.

The way to end Manchin's veto is to flip one or more Republican seats.
Doing that is going to take dedication and commitment from all of us.

Wisconsin, Missouri, Pennsylvania, and North Carolina. Please chip in $4
here.

Thanks for being a bold progressive.
