You see, I’m a seventh-generation Arkansan, and a second-generation minister. I wasn’t born into politics. But I was born into a family that shaped how I think about public service — by raising me to care about people: my neighbors, my neighbors’ parents, my neighbors’ kids, their health, their schools, their safety.
