America is at a crossroads, perhaps the most significant crossroads since the Civil War. It’s no exaggeration to say that our democracy – which has persisted for nearly 250 years – is in danger. And what we do in the next few months could make all the difference.

If we choose to give up the fight against voter suppression, gerrymandering, and disinformation, Republicans will continue to consolidate unearned power. They will declare victory in legislative, gubernatorial, and judicial elections, and use this power to further undermine the democratic principles our country was built upon.

But if we choose to fight – as the National Democratic Redistricting Committee is doing – then I believe we can save and even strengthen the American freedom to vote in fair elections.

I support the NDRC because they’re doing the critical, state-by-state work of ensuring the elections of 2022 and 2024 are as fair as possible. Will you split a donation between the NDRC and my campaign today?

The Republican Party’s attacks on democracy are unlike anything I’ve seen in my lifetime. Democrats’ response must be big, bold, and strategic.

In the House, Democrats are holding Republicans accountable and have passed important legislation to protect the freedom to vote and prohibit partisan gerrymandering of congressional elections.

I’m grateful that the NDRC is complementing our efforts by working in the states to demand fair redistricting, push through reforms, boost candidates who support fair maps, and much more. Together, I know we can do what must be done to protect our democracy and strengthen it for future generations.
