Dear Supporter,
Today, Wednesday 27 April, marks 54 years since the 1967 Abortion Act came into force. Official statistics tell us that up until the end of 2020, 9,601,778 abortions have been carried out since then. We estimate that the number has now reached 9,898,425.
Today is a day to mourn every one of those 9,898,425 unborn babies who have had their lives cut short. It is also a time to call to mind the mothers of all those babies. Many women suffer after abortion, especially those who felt pressured into undergoing it, either by the people in their lives, or by external circumstances.
This anniversary is also an opportunity to renew our commitment to the pro-life cause. We must fight the evil of abortion, and keep on fighting until every unborn life is protected, and life-giving solutions are given to women in need.

Political action is a major part of this fight. On this anniversary, please use our easy webtool to write to your MP. Our political leaders must not be allowed to forgot those 9,898,425 babies, and be reminded of their responsibility to make just laws that promote life for all.
